Rorcon's expertise was called upon by SMET, a leading provider of micro-tunnelling solutions, for a project spanning across Europe.
he project involved constructing a pipejack with a diameter of 1.8m ID and 2.4m OD, using inter-jacks, at various sites including Essen, Bottrop IserIohn, Hollandstrabe, and Osterbro in Denmark. The project was executed using the Herrenknecht AVND2000 TBM machine and a bentonite slurry plant system.
To ensure the successful completion of the project, Rorcon supplied multiple, highly-skilled and experienced operatives who were responsible for managing the slurry plant and achieving the pipejack drives across Europe.
The project required the team to work in challenging conditions and adhere to strict safety regulations.
However, thanks to the experience and knowledge of Rorcon's operatives, the project was completed on time and to the required specifications.
